The Get Up Kids , the group that has influenced a whole wave of bands "emo" returns in January with a new studio album " There Are Rules ; , "their fifth album to be released on their own label Quality Hill Records.
Seven years after what appeared to be their last album "Guilt Show, The Get Up Kids are back in the studio in 2009, motivated by an impulse decision to write new songs together. And here is "There Are Rules " 12 new songs that prove to be as surprising as familiar. The titles were all written spontaneously and then worked in the studio with longtime producer Ed Rose, eventually leading to a collection of songs inspired and fresh, created by a group that is reborn and do not look back.
